To gain your A+ Certification, you will need to complete the A+ Essentials exam and the IT Technician exam. The A+ Certification is developed by CompTIA, the world’s largest developer of vendor-neutral IT certification exams. Anyone who wants a world recognized credential as a competent computer service profession can take the A+ examinations. When participants have completed our preparation courses they will be able to sit for the examinations at the College as Lidcombe is a VUE Testing Centre. IT Essentials I covers core competencies in the latest hardware and software technologies, including a greater emphasis on information security skills, safety and environmental issues, and soft skills. This program aligns with the CompTIA A+ Essentials exam required for all A+ candidates. It also covers the three CompTIA job environment certification exams: IT technician (602), remote support technician (603), and bench technician (604). The learning outcomes cover all exams associated with the new CompTIA A+ certification and the first three EUCIP IT Administrator exams available in Europe.
