ASP.Net AJAX

Google Maps, Netflix, and Flickr use Ajax to offer a rich and engaging user experience that is supported across all major browsers. You begin by reviewing the underlying technologies that make Ajax possible and examine the architecture of the ASP.NET Ajax Framework. Then you master the details of the framework using code samples. You learn to use the toolkit and library in Microsoft’s ASP.NET Ajax Framework to create rich and interactive Web interfaces.

By the completion of this course, you will have a solid understanding of this framework that provides both the client-side and server-side components for closing the gap between Web and desktop user interfaces. Various course topics include: installing the Ajax Control Toolkit on Visual Studio, JSON Serialization, Script Manager and partial page updates, taking control of updatable regions, error handling, debugging techniques using tools like Fiddler, extender controls, remote calls via Web Services, remote calls via page methods, bridging external Web Services, and using controls from the Ajax Control Toolkit.
