Arabic level 2

This level is for people with some Arabic background such that they are able to understand basic Arabic instructions and Arabic grammar. Apart from reading, writing and speaking in Arabic, students will be required to memorise set number of vocabulary, verbs, and attempt basic Arabic-English, English-Arabic translations. Students will be exposed to greater depth of Nahu (grammer) and Sarf(morphology). A range of texts will be used in this level, including Madina Book 2 and Al Baseera materials.

Course Duration: 15 Weeks

Upon completion of this course, students can expect to be able to introduce themselves, as well as to engage in simple conversation on a range of everyday topics. Building upon the basic foundation provided in Level 1, topics introduced include the definite article, the nisba adjective, interrogatives, pronouns, the present tense, and plural forms. Proper pronunciation and listening skills continue to be emphasized.
