Arabic level 1

This level is intended for fresh beginners with very little or no Arabic language knowledge. However, the student will need to be able to read the Qur’an as this is not a Tajweed course. Students will learn simple vocabulary and will be introduced to basic Arabic grammar. In addition, students will develop skills in reading, writing and speaking Arabic.The course is based on the madinah series book 1 which was originally taught and compiled at the renowned madinah Islamic university in Saudi arabia Students are expected to complete Madinah Book 1 in addition to Al-Baseera materials.

Course Duration: 15 Weeks

Introduces both spoken and written Modern Standard Arabic, the language of education, business and the media throughout the Arabic speaking world. Upon completion of this course, students can expect to be able to discuss their families and jobs. They should also be able to identify spoken words by part of speech and distinguish between nominal and verbal sentence structures. Students learn to read and write the complete Arabic alphabet. Proper pronunciation and the development of conversational proficiency are strongly emphasized as a foundation for further learning.
