Business Continuity Planning (Diploma)

The online Diploma course includes the same material, case studies and exercises used in our course ECP-601 "Effective Business Continuity Management for Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing Companies". On completion you can write the online exam for the Certified Continuity Manager designation offered by the National Institute for Business Continuity Management.

The course covers all 10 stages of the BCP Life Cycle, training participants in "best practices" as well as "best principles" for Business Continuity Planning. Participants receive the knowledge and tools needed to develop a business continuity program for their organization. Participants who complete the online course are awarded our Diploma in Business Continuity Planning, and receive a CEU certificate for 25 contact hours. Participants will also be able to download the Handbook which contains a copy of all the 700+ slides used in the course, and over 15 downloadable tools and templates. This is an exceptionally comprehensive course and you should plan to spend at least 25 hours in study. It is organized into 19 individual lessons which you can study (and re-study) at your own pace.

The online Certificate course includes the same material, case studies and exercises used in our course ECP-602 "Effective Business Continuity Planning". Participants who complete the online course are awarded our Certificate in Business Continuity Planning. On completion you can also write the online exam for the Certified Continuity Manager designation offered by the National Institute for Business Continuity Management.

The Certificate in Business Continuity Planning was created to help businesses plan for the unthinkable. Every business needs a contingency plan that creates a strategic operations framework to continue providing products and services in the face of a catastrophic event.

Completion of the Certificate in Business Continuity Planning will prepare you with an in-depth and applied understanding of the business strategies and skills you need to develop and implement a successful business continuity plan for your organization. The Association of Contingency Planners (ACP), university faculty, and other industry experts in business continuity and disaster recovery collaborated on this certificate.

The Certificate in Business Continuity Planning consists of four required courses totaling 50 hours of lecture and discussion. 5.0 Continuing Education Units will be awarded to the certificate graduate.

Discussions will focus on identifying critical business processes by performing an actual Business Impact Analysis (BIA), including understanding the differences between the public versus private sector and the various regulatory requirements and agencies.
