This qualification will provide you with an overview of the tourism industry and some introductory practical administrative skills relevant to the tourism industry. You will learn about the tourism industry and safety and security in the workplace. You will also learn introductory skills in customer service, simple computing tasks and some basic administrative tasks.

The Certificate II in Tourism (Operations) qualifies graduates for positions in the Tourism Industry such as office assistant in a small tour operation; receptionist/office assistant with a professional conference organiser; retail sales assistant in a tourist attraction; animal attendant; meet and greet guide; museum attendant.
