Language for Travellers - Chinese Mandarin

This program provides basic language and cultural skills in Chinese Mandarin for the intending business traveller. A specially developed manual is included for all participants in the course. Other courses in this suite include Japanese, Greek, Spanish, Italian and French.

This nationally recognised course teaches you practical communication skills, both spoken and written for work, business, trade and social situations.

There is also an emphasis on the close relationship between language and culture.

If you have prior knowledge of the language you should make enquiries regarding advanced standing with the course co-ordinator at the college you wish to attend. Advanced standing is assessed at the enrolment session. Ultimo offers an accelerated stream for people of Chinese background.
