Digital Photography with Adobe Photoshop This course provides an introduction to digital photography and digital imaging with Adobe Photoshop. Students are introduced to the fundamentals of digital camera operation and such traditional photographic concepts as exposure, composition, and lighting, as well as computer image correction and manipulation, output options, and printing. The course emphasizes technical skill development and creative exploration. Upon completion of the course, students are able to identify and operate the controls of a digital camera; utilize various theoretical aspects of digital photography; and operate Adobe Photoshop for image management, tonal and color correction, cropping, basic digital effects, creation of black and white, and output of digital photographic images.
