Driving Cultural Change Research has shown that a contrary or rigid culture is the most important factor in preventing the successful implementation of change and is especially significant when a merger is involved. This course will use case studies and introduce a structured approach to assessing your culture, analysing the causes of the cultural status-quo, identifying changes required to structure, systems and style and auditing/reinforcing change.
By the end of the course delegates will have:-
Understood why organisations and mergers have failed because of cultural factors
Identified the desired cultural values of their own organisation
Analysed their existing organisation culture
Identified the weaknesses and strengths of the culture against the desired values
Assessed the causal factors behind the culture
Identified the barriers to and levers of change within the culture
Developed a change management plan
Agreed a means to monitor and reinforce the desired cultural state
