Eco-Adventure Guiding (Certificate) Like Ecotour Guides, Adventure-tour Guides are expected to interpret special places to the visitor. However, some of these places are wild and remote, requiring specialised skills to lead people safely through what are often challenging environments. Adventure-tour Guides use a range of specialised outdoor recreation skills to guide their clients safely along rugged walking tracks over multiple days, down remote wilderness rivers, or paddling along stunning coastlines exploring secluded bays and estuaries.
This course is a combination of both the Tourism Guiding and Outdoor Recreation Certificate III qualifications. If you are thinking of Adventure-tourism guiding as a career consider this full year qualification.
This dual qualification is the Industry Standard for adventure tour guides.
