Editing and Proofreading This is a proofreading and editing module. In our experience, this is one fo the most troublesome areas for individuals starting out in medical transcription. They often have learned the terminology well but make mistakes in regular English words, transpose letters, add endings where they dont belong, incorrectly punctuate, or even put together totally nonsensical phrases and words. This section is new to the 5th Edition and contains hundreds of proofreading exercises and ideas, practicing primarily on medical reports, with exercises on common English mistakes.
