Our Myrtle Beach golf schools are at the magnificent Wachesaw Plantation East. Wachesaw is located in Murrells Inlet, a historic fishing village that rests on the Atlantic Ocean.

Wachesaw Plantation East is a Clyde Johnston designed, championship 18 hole facility which has been styled in the time-honored fashion of the great Scottish links courses. You are surrounded by freshwater lakes and natural wetlands and the Scottish influence is in evidence with strategically placed bunkers, rolling fairways and traditional mounding. The moss-covered oaks provide a serene backdrop from the hustle-bustle of the everyday world.

Bird Golf schools students enjoy a superb private practice area and chipping and putting green to work on their new skills. Wachesaw Plantation East is the recipient of several awards and accolades, and was most recently, the 2007 Myrtle Beach, "Golf Course of the Year." Wachesaw Plantation East was given Golf Digest’s prestigious, 4 star award in their "Places to Play" list and has been the host to the LPGA Tour on four occasions. LPGA superstar, Karrie Webb won both the 1987 and 1998 tournaments, the City of Hope Myrtle Beach Classics.

Our golf school at Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort is an easy 45 mile drive from Pittsburgh and located in the foothills of the Chestnut Ridge Mountains. The golf resort is home to 2 championship golf courses, both of which have received 4 1/2 star ratings in the Golf Digest’s "Places to Play Guide." The Tom’s Run Course designed by Bill Love, follows a mountain stream as it wanders through the picturesque canyons. The Chestnut Ridge Course renders breathtaking views back dropped by a beautiful mountain landscape.

Both courses offer sculpted bent grass fairways, undulating bent grass greens, multiple tees and varied pin placements. Your golf school at each course will provide an exciting challenge and a valuable learning experience, regardless of handicap. Bird Golf school students enjoy a carefully maintained practice area with large bent grass tees and the luxurious locker room facilities that are always available for your use.

Dining at Chestnut Ridge is an affair you will delight. Delicious entrees and home-made desserts have been created and perfected by the Executive Chef. The all new Goombah’s Restaurant also serves a popular luncheon buffet throughout the year. Additional restaurants can be found close by in Blairsville or just a short drive to the small metropolitan city of Indiana.

Heritage Hills Resort has everything that our golf school students?could want! Conveniently located in the scenic hills and valleys of South Central Pennsylvania, golf schools at this superb golf resort are within easy driving distance of Pittsburgh, Ocean City and bordering states New Jersey and New York. Heritage Hills is also close to the world famous Hershey Theme Park and the famous chocolate factory. The surrounding historic towns of York and Gettysburg provide the perfect additional “things to do?for your golf school vacation.

The Resort features two restaurants on property. The Windows On The Green is renowned for it’s innovative and artful preparation of their fine continental cuisine. The less formal Knicker’s Pub and Grill features also features a full menu and guests enjoy the warm atmosphere (with live entertainment on weekends) and the lighted brick patio.
