Guerrilla FilmMaking Workshop Storymakers TV is starting a weekly rolling programme of short courses in London, aimed at people who are interested in directing, gain practical skills in working with HD cameras (Sony EX1), working with Depth-of-Field adapters and prime lenses, editing (Final Cut Pro 6.05) and colour grading using FC’s Color. The course will provide a practical insight into low to no-budget filmmaking. Working in small groups of up to five people maximum, you will be working over an intense five-day period on the making of a short film or a music promo, depending on which course you enrol. Courses take place run from Monday to Friday, on a weekly basis as part of a rolling programme.
This is an intense practical experience and we expect all those applying to ensure they have the time to take part in all of the five days. From concept, through to filming and editing of the final film, whether you are a writer or interested in directing, cinematography or editing you will leave this course with sound knowledge and a DVD copy/streaming version of your film, which we will then send to festivals in the UK and around the world.
The courses are led by two seasoned professionals: writer/director Antonio Ribeiro and cinematographer Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz. All equipment will be provided. Cost: £517 (inc. VAT) per person for the complete course. The location will be at our studio in Brixton with filming in and around London.
