After completing this course the student should be able to:

Present the functions uses and capabilities of the C10000 series router
Define the various leased-line access architectures that use the Cisco 10000 series
Demonstrate a functional understanding of the C10000 series hardware components, their interconnection, dependencies and features
Provide a functional description of the PRE and PXF including their architecture, header forwarding and packet processing
Use PXF and Cisco IOS commands to track and monitor system traffic
Describe and verify the operation of PRE redundancy on the Cisco 10000 series router
Configure clear channel and channelized interfaces in T3, T1, E1 SONET and SDH environments
Configure and verify the operation of hierarchical and regular QoS policies on the Cisco 10000 series route
Course Content
The course will focus on the customer’s use of a high density aggregation router, the hardware, and software components developed to meet that need. Practical in-depth, hands-on exercises are structured to provide students with the skills required to install, configure and troubleshoot the C10000 series router.
