Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

The LEED (U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system has grown in interest since organizations such as the Los Angeles Community College District, City of Los Angeles, Pasadena, Culver City, and state agencies have mandated the LEED standard. This course provides participants with an understanding of the LEED rating system and is intended for public agency administrators, architects, engineers, building owners, construction managers, and environmentalists, among others. To provide flexibility to these busy professionals, links to resources on the web are given so topics can be explored independently and in more depth. Timed sample exams familiarize participants with the LEED 2.2 Examination.
