Lean Six Sigma: Manager Green Belt This course provides operational managers with the ability to understand the principles behind and the tools used in the Lean Six Sigma approach. It is intended for managers who simply want to understand the core tools and techniques so that they are able to support, scope and sponsor improvement projects rather than run them. It is not intended as a practitioner course and provides only limited practical exercises, which are targeted at scoping business scoping improvement projects.
Course Objectives
This course has been designed to create confident and knowledgeable managers, who are able to understand the DMAIC methodology, the key Lean Six Sigma tools and how to apply them within improvement projects. Participants are not expected to become experts in the tools; however they will be challenged to contextualize Lean Six Sigma within their business and identify opportunities to improve.
