Six Sigma Black Belt Workshop :

We are pleased to inform you that a Six Sigma Black Belt Workshop is organized by Lean Sigma Management Institute in Delhi/NCR. This workshop is designed based on Body of Knowledge (BOK) for Six Sigma Black Belt Certification offered by American Society for Quality (ASQ).

This 16-days workshop is scheduled on Sundays for four months from 3rd May 2009 to 16th August 2009 at Delhi/NCR. The course is scheduled conveniently so that participants can complete their projects by July 2009 and plan for taking ASQ certification examination scheduled on 17 Oct 2009.
The workshop is designed for Managers, Engineers and Professionals, who want to learn Lean six sigma, apply it to improve processes, and get certified as Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ.
Timing: 10:00 am to 6:00 PM every Sunday from 3rd May�9 to 16th August�9

Salient features of the workshop are:

�Prepare for the internationally recognized Six Sigma Black Belt certification by ASQ.
�Two simulated tests similar to the ASQ examination. Get recognized by Lean Sigma Management Institute as “Certified Six Sigma Black Belt�after passing the examination and completing a Six Sigma project.
�Comprehensive training material addressing the complete body of knowledge by ASQ, many useful templates and data files, application exercises and more than 300 practice questions with solutions.
�Hands on exercises with Catapult and other games to facilitate learning.
�Participants need to bring laptop computer loaded with MIMITAB software (free download from www.minitab.com) for statistical applications.
�Each participant is expected to take up a Six Sigma project. Guidance for selection and implementation of the projects will be part of the training.

Green Belt is not just a role, it is also a competency required for leadership positions at many top companies. This learning series is designed to enable participants to fulfill the important role of a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and to incorporate the Lean Six Sigma mindset into their leadership skills. With a real-world project focus the series will teach the fundamental methodology, tools and techniques of the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control Process Improvement Methodology. This course is delivered through sixteen 3-hour online sessions or eight traditional classroom days spread over two months (2x4 consecutive days).

Performance Focus
Participants will learn how to select high impact projects that align to the organizational objectives and strategy. Once the projects are identified they’ll learn how to properly plan the Six Sigma project, identify the CTQ’s (Customer Requirements), measure process capability, analyze data, identify root causes, implement improvements, and sustain the gains. Using hands-on, interactive exercises and simulations, instructors will demonstrate when, why and how Six Sigma tools and techniques are used to identify and eliminate defect drivers and Lean tools and techniques are used to improve speed in critical business processes. IIL instructors will provide free project coaching throughout the course.
