M.S., Merchandising (Master Degree) Students extend their knowledge of retailing and conduct research on business and consumer issues that influence the development, retail distribution, sale, use, and disposal of consumer goods.
Programs of study for the thesis masters degree require a minimum of 33 semester hours, including six semester hours of thesis, 12 semester hours of foundational coursework in research, theory, and statistics, nine semester hours in the area of specialization, and six semester hours of supporting coursework from an appropriate field inside or outside of TCS. Final approval of the program of study rests with the students supervisory committee. Coursework programs require a minimum of 39 graduate credits in designated coursework.
