Med-Legal Sight Translation Sight translation is a complex and unique technique requiring an interpreter to give an oral rendition of written text quickly and accurately. You will develop an overview of the concepts and techniques of sight translation. You will examine an analysis of med-legal and court-related texts focusing on the similarities and differences in Spanish and English grammar. Exercises in speed reading, vocabulary building, and oral summaries of written texts from Spanish to English, and English to Spanish, will be used to further develop sight translation skills.
