In combination with critical and analytical skills represented by the student’s bachelor’s degree, the paralegal certificate demonstrates readiness to assist an attorney in the delivery of legal services.

This nationally recognized Paralegal online course and training program prepares potential paralegal students to be successful in the fast growing paralegal career field. The paralegal training program includes free access to the official NALA Campus certification exam prep and Westlaw. All materials included! This online certificate program is only offered in partnership with major accredited colleges and universities.

The Paralegal Program is a dynamic program, designed to train participants in fundamental paralegal skills. The instruction is application - oriented and relates to those areas of the law in which legal assistants are in the most demand. The program, covered over a period of six weekends, is intensive and based solely on paralegal studies. Therefore, while other paralegal programs may take two years to complete, they often require that the student take general studies courses as well and that the courses be taken only several hours a week.

The program requires significant amounts of homework. However, a majority of the students are employed full time and find the program quite manageable albeit challenging.

The program prepares students to:

· Assist in research for trial attorneys.

· Assist with gathering facts from prospective witnesses.

· Investigate complex fact patterns.

· Assist in preparation of cases for courtroom litigation.

The Paralegal Certificate Program is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in the legal field as a paralegal or legal assistant and includes the official National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) exam preparation for students interested in becoming Certified Legal Assistants (CLA). This program is also perfect for existing paralegals and legal assistants who want to receive the educational requirements and CLA test prep so they can sit for the NALA certification exam.

Through a special arrangement between Gatlin Education and NALA Campus, your tuition includes free access to the seven (7) prep exam courses offered at the NALA Campus.
