Tutor and candidate introductions. Agreement of Objectives/Learning Logs. Define and Understand the term ‘Negotiation� Understand the basic 4 Step Model which leads to successful Negotiations. Prepare thoroughly and professionally for any Negotiating situation. Understand the need to achieve a ‘Win-Win�situation. Understand the TECHNIQUES used by Effective Negotiators. Understand and practise the key SKILLS used by Effective Negotiators. Identify strengths and improvement areas as they apply to theirown working environment. Take part in practise negotiating sessions and receive feedback. Build their confidence in their own skills. Produce an Action Plan for implementing the skills used during the Workshop.
