Quality Auditing to TS 16949:2002 Workshop The course teaches the participants to perform audits under the TS/16949:2002 standard as well as grasp the differences between the QS9000 and TS/16949:2002 standards. Participants will learn how to prepare for auditing to the standard through studying the applicable documentation requirements, understanding the importance of the auditing team selection, development of an auditing plan, examining the need to coordinate with the auditee, and preparation of the Letter of Notification to the auditee. The workshop will present the participants with the knowledge of conducting the audit including preparing for the opening meeting, learning the difference between first, second, and third party audits, performing desktop and implementation audits, how to manage personality differences, and conducting daily debriefing with the auditee. The workshop also teaches the participants how to conduct the closing meeting for the audit. The audit report and post audit activities will be intricate parts of the workshop.
Participants will learn how to evaluate the findings of the audit and examine the corrective action plan. The workshop will teach participants to study the requirements for a follow-up audit and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective action plans.
