However in the network driven world of today, standalone systems are rare and of course where there are networks there is confusion and security implications. This course has been designed to help support technical staff in their understanding and control of these issues.
Course Objectives
On completion of the course the delegate will have be able to administer complex Red Hat Linux networks and protect them from attack. They will have a greater technical awareness of the skills required to monitor and control performance issues. They will also gain the key skills required to work towards achieving the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification status.

Use TCP Wrappers to limit service access.
Configure virtual hosting using the Apache web server.
Configure a DNS server.
Share data using the Samba and NFS file sharing systems.
