Spring Skiing in the Backcountry Did you think it wasn’t a ski season in May? Think again! Some of the best skiing is to be had in the spring and summer months. Join experienced "corn skiers" from the Outdoor Adventure Program for this day of fun and sunny backcountry skiing (or riding) up at Cameron Pass.
Well learn about spring avalanche hazards, techniques for "following the corn", and introduce you to the best kept secret in Colorado: Spring Skiing!
This is NOT a learn to ski class. You must be a competent intermediate skier or rider. We will NOT be teaching you how to ski or ride.
The class will consist of one evening session to cover equipment, technique, clothing, weather, and safety conditions. Your course fee includes telemark ski gear and van transportation.
