Understanding Specifications in Construction This is an interactive two-day seminar that will cover the fundamentals of understanding and interpreting construction specifications. The seminar will deal with applying basic knowledge required to read, prepare and interpret construction specifications. The seminar provides direct dialogue by and between course participants, and between the course participant and the course instructor After completing this course the participant should be able to - describe the relationship between the various written documents that are used to assemble construction specifications and utilize the project manual in their everyday work experience - apply the knowledge gained in this course to the interpretation or preparation of construction specifications - recognize the various project participants and the roles that they play in construction administration. This course is specifically intended for construction product representatives, contractors, cost consultants, architects, engineers and owners.
