Fundamentals of Unix (Solaris and Linux)

This course teaches you how to use Linux and Solaris operating systems and introduces you to the GNOME graphical user interface (GUI). You will learn fundamental command-line features of Linux and Solaris including file system navigation, changing file permission, the vi text editor, Korn and Bash shell features and basic network use. GUI features include configuring the desktop, file managers and GUI text editors.
