Web Technology Fundamentals Web technology is dramatically influencing most areas of our lives and greatly affecting how we present, access, and utilize information. This course is designed for individuals who want an understanding of basic web technology and its practical applications. Participants learn basic HTML--the language on which web pages are based. Other topics include IP addresses; image optimization; search engines; intranets; forms; website design and usability; hypermedia theory; the client/server model; graphics and very basic CSS, JavaScript, Flash, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks.
