fashion and textile merchandising Workshop ftm is an undergraduate programme developed in collaboration with the royal melbourne institute of textiles, australia and is designed to cater to the demands for manpower proficient in product knowledge, design and manufacturing technology in clothing and textile industry. the fashion & textiles merchandising programme builds upon student skills and capabilities enable them to become highly employable in the fashion & textiles retail and merchandising sectors. the programme focuses on the technical skills and theory, required to merchandise and market fashion and textile related products throughout each stage of the supply chain within large scale enterprises. the programme is designed to teach the foundation level of the programme comprising of four semesters at iam, gurgaon and mumbai and final two semesters at rmit, australia for a bachelor of applied science award. however students who do not wish to proceed to australia for the final semester can exit the programme after the second semester and would be awarded a ug diploma.
