The Graduate Tax Program leads to the LLM in Taxation upon the completion of 24 semester hours of graduate course work. The course of study allows for completion of the degree in six semesters, covering two calendar years.

Applicants may seek admission as degree or non-degree candidates. This program is also unique in that it offers practicing lawyers an educational opportunity to obtain an advanced degree in tax law without having to pay the expense of living in residence. Courses in the program are taught by distinguished faculty and experienced practitioners not just from Alabama but also from instructors at Emory, Georgia State and other institutions or law firms throughout the Southeast.
