Maritime Welding Program - Stand-alone 16 week Program

This Program is for all who are interested in a non-diving career in welding.
This Program focuses on the maritime environment, working offshore and in shipyards.

Commercial Diving Academy is the only U.S. school offering an internationally-recognized underwater welding training in association with Speciality Welds Limited, UK. This advanced welding training is part of the Air/Mixed Gas Commercial Diver Program. This portion of the training follows the Speciality Welds Weldcraft-Pro curriculum.

This is a highly specialized training program designed to prepare our students to obtain high quality Manual Metal Arc (MMA) welding skills both above and below water. The course follows the guidelines under the European Welding Federation (EWF) in accordance with BS EN ISO 15618-1 and/or AWS D3.6-99M. The training is designed to equip our students with the skills necessary to produce high quality fillet welds. You will be introduced to all the relevant theory associated with the MMA welding process, together with relevant safe working practices.

A highly specialised training programme, designed for commercial divers serious about obtaining high quality Manual Metal Arc (MMA) welding skills both above and below water.
