'' The Cambridge EFL Examinations are recognised throughout the world as highly reliable tests for both employment and study purposes. CET concentrates on three of these examinations:

FCE - First Certificate in English: the first of the exams
CAE - Certificate in Advanced English: more advanced than the FCE
The Cambridge courses are intended for intermediate-level students. CET teachers will prepare you for these examinations which are held in June and December each year. The courses are usually ten weeks.

Entry requirements (As a guideline only):
For FCE you need an IELTS of 4.5 or a TOEFL of 485 (new TOEFL 163).
For CAE you need an IELTS of 5.5 or a TOEFL of 525 (new TOEFL 197) or an FCE.
