'' This 10-day instructor led accelerated course is designed to provide delegates with the necessary knowledge to pursue certification as a 2003 Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). This credential is one of the most widely recognised technical certifications in the industry. The Windows 2003 MCSE is a first-rate certification for IT professionals who design, administer, manage and implement business solutions based on the Microsoft Windows 2003 platform.
Please note: This course requires extended hours (8.30 am �6.30 pm). Self-study is not required before the course, however it is recommended that delegates read the provided Microsoft manuals during the evenings.
As this is an accelerated 10 day programme it is not possible for delegates to attend only week one or week two
There is no official course reading but the recomended book is “Mastering Windows 2003 Server�by Mark Minasi.
Prerequisites Meeting that prerequisites and skills required �this will be assessed by sales and instructor telephone interviews
An MCSE candidate should have at least one year of experience implementing and ideally administering a network operating system in environments with the following characteristics:
200 to 26,000 supported users Up to 150 physical locations Typical network services and applications include file and print, databases, messaging, proxy server or firewall, dial-in server, desktop management, and Web hosting. Connectivity needs include connecting individual offices and users at remote locations to a corporate network and connecting corporate networks to the Internet. In addition, an MCSE candidate should have at least one year of experience in implementing and administering a desktop operating system.
