'' This course will provide students with an understanding of the importance of the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), as well as the laws, policies, guidance, and organizations on which the DIACAP is based. Upon completion of the course, students will be knowledgeable in threats, vulnerabilities, adversaries, and risks to information systems. Students will be able to identify the five distinct activities of the DIACAP and their required tasks and documentation. Students will apply their knowledge of the DIACAP by completing exercises in which they will create appropriate DIACAP documentation (utilizing written scenarios, templates, and samples). Students will have an understanding of additional service/agency policies/processes that are related to the DIACAP ...''
