At Course Completion:
After completing this course, students will know how to: - Identify various ways of mentoring, identify mentoring roles and competencies, and implement organizational strategies through mentoring. - Understand the purpose of and criteria for a successful mentoring program, develop a mentoring program, and select mentors and mentees. - Understand the dimensions of mentoring, and identify learning and mentoring styles. - Become an effective mentor, choose and manage a mentee, and become an effective mentee. - Build a strong mentoring relationship, make a mentoring relationship successful, and end a mentoring relationship.
