'' The Rolling Stones were right: you can’t always get what you want. But you can improve your chances by developing your powers of persuasion.
This course looks at the strategies and skills of effective persuasion. You will explore the ethical use of persuasive techniques, learn what tactics to employ in a variety of situations, and practice various forms of persuasion in a non-threatening environment. Effective persuasion depends on engaging an audience intellectually as well as emotionally. You’ll learn about the differences between intellectual and emotional persuasion, and receive guidance on how to pursue both by high-integrity means.
Note: This course is not intended for inexperienced managers.
