Course Description:
'' In this course, students will use Fireworks to create vector graphics, edit bitmap graphics, optimize images, and create and assign rollover effects for web pages.
Who Should Attend:
This course is intended for students who want to learn the basic techniques used to create web pages. Students must be proficient in working with Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating system.
At Course Completion:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: - familiarize yourself with the Fireworks environment. - create vector graphics. - transform vector images and apply live filters to them. - import a bitmap graphic and enhance it. - add text to a web page. - create slices and rollovers, and optimize an image. - create hotspots for images and link them to web pages. - create multiple pages and export them. - organize creative assets using Adobe Bridge.
Prerequisite Comments:
Students should also have basic word processing skills, such as copying and pasting text, formatting text, and so on.
A familiarity with Web terminology
Students should be familiar with the basic functions of their computer’s operating system such as creating folders, launching programs, and working with windows.
