'' Business processes are the high-level activities and procedures organizations (including government) perform on an operational level allowing them to function efficiently. Generally when involved in commercial enterprises these processes include items like planning, procurement, manufacturing, distribution, order tracking, accounting, promotion, sales, delivery and customer service. Organizations increasingly approach workflow from a process perspective rather than the traditional departmental perspective. Processes today are mostly computer driven. Accurate choice and implementation of key technologies that support business processes are therefore the major factors in determining financial health. In today’s technology centric world it is important that the Business Analyst understand the technologies that support business operations and processes, as well as the hardware and software architectural components of business systems. In this course you will learn about these essential technologies and how they enable the processes that facilitate and empower organizations to succeed in an increasingly computerized integrated real-time economy.
