Course Description:

'' These two lessons introduce students to the theory and methods used in the inspection and appraisal of office properties. The first lesson offers an overview of how the physical aspects of office properties influence their value, examining construction types, physical requirements, and methods of construction, with special regard to factors governing layout and functional requirements. The second lesson introduces appraisal concepts and techniques specific to multi-tenanted office projects. The use and application of the discounted cash flow (DCF) and direct capitalization methods of valuation are covered through the use of a sample case study.
