'' Our unique and internationally-renowned work study program provides a hands-on learning environment for professional audio engineers looking to refresh and upgrade their skills and expertise, as well as for audio engineering students wishing to increase their practical skills before transitioning to a professional career. Engineers from around the world participate in our work study program to benefit from:
mentoring with staff recording engineers and technologists. weekly classes with audio staff and internationally-renowned visiting guest faculty on topics including listening, studio set-up, multichannel audio, signal processing, recording techniques, and many others. recording live concerts each week in classical, jazz, and contemporary genres. recording and producing demo CDs for the international musicians participating in our residency programs. working with staff engineers on commercial CD recordings, DVDs, film post-production, and other projects. five professionally-equipped studio spaces, including a composition room, for projects and research. interaction with other international audio engineers, as well as professional musicians and artists in other disciplines. ...''
