Cisco Qualified Specialist focused certifications demonstrate significant competency in specific technology areas, solutions, and/or jobs roles. Individuals who have earned an associate level career certification or higher are eligible to become qualified in these focused areas. With one or more specialists certifications, network professionals can better align their core expertise with current industry needs.
In contrast to general certifications, Cisco Qualified Specialist certifications have no levels (such as associate or professional). Each designation is customised to meet specific market needs. Also, prerequisite requirements have greater from one focused certification to the next.
Many of the Cisco Qualified Specialist certifications are required of individuals seeking to meet the role requirements of a Cisco Partner Specialisation. The Cisco Partner Specialisation Program is specifically for Cisco Partners and Resellers who seek to become specialised for Partner benefits, enabling them to earn points toward partner certification under the Cisco Channel Partner Program.
