'' After 29 intakes in Malaysia and a process of review and consultation that extended to alumni and employes, the Bachelor of Business (Business Administration) was revamped and renamed the Bachelor of Business (Management) (BBM). LAN has approved this new program and it will be offered subject to final university approval in 2007.
The degree provides initial prepartion for professional careers in business and a foundation for further study and experience in the area of management. Graduates from this program are expected to be able to demonstrate an understanding of a relevant and systematic bady of knowledge, its underlying principles and concepts and the capability to them in contemporary organisations. The degree has been designed around the following capabilities:
Contribute to decisions within diverse political, economic, environmental and social contexts
Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively
Pursue continuous personal development of knowledge and skills related to a management career
Communicate idea, intentions and outcomes clearly to a variety of audiences
The ability to engage with business activities in a disciplined and ethical manner
Committed to contributing to the management of business in contemporary organisations
