'' This course, the first in the program, will provide students with techniques for anticipating and responding to the challenges of managing virtual and globally distributed teams. Specifically, the course will focus on strategies for recognizing, anticipating, and responding to: 1) cultural and individual diversity in order to strengthen communication and team-building; 2) relevant local, state and regional regulatory structures and 3) ethical dilemmas that emerge, particularly in the context of globalization. The course will be organized around case studies from service and manufacturing industries and student work experience. ...''
