'' In How to Critically Evaluate Your Business Plan you will play the role of an analyst for Cheslow Investments, where you will critique some of the most critical components of a business plan based upon that of a real start-up company, Surfparks, LLC. You will need to determine the plan`s overall viability, and recommend whether your firm should invest in the idea. As you take on this responsibility, you will have access to experts who, through video and text, will help you learn the tools and strategies you`ll need to answer the seven critical questions.

We begin the Entrepreneurship curriculum by having you analyze a business plan, so you become familiar with the main issues involved in creating a successful plan. This will help you frame your own ideas in follow-on courses. The work you do here will prepare you for the next steps in the Entrepreneurship curriculum, which will help you solidify your own new business idea, write all sections of your business plan, launch your business, and finally, develop a plan to grow it.

In order to write a winning plan, you first have to recognize what goes into a winning plan. This course will help you do that. You`re going to use seven critical questions to help you navigate the ins and outs of business plan analysis. By learning to recognize a plan`s risks and opportunities, you`ll know what works and what doesn`t work when it`s time to write your own plan.
