'' Educational institutions are under more pressure than ever to provide a high quality learning environment for the students in their care. With increasing scrutiny and often decreasing dollars, school leaders are challenged to do more with the resources they have and to provide a strong instructional curriculum. Yet, their success is often hampered by the management challenges they face. This executive education program, specifically designed for school leaders, will provide an outstanding, interactive academic experience.

Focused on key leadership topics, this program will combine theory and practice enabling school leaders to more effectively manage their teachers, staff, external constituents and students to better meet the educational needs of the children in their schools. Good instructional leadership is critical to the success of a school, but a strong management orientation will help leaders continue to build stronger schools, motivate their staff to lead to higher performing students.

Participants are encouraged to come as a team to this program. This team could include principals, assistant principals, board members and key instructional leaders. To facilitate the participation of multiple leaders, the Kellogg School Center for Nonprofit Management has identified seed funding that will enable each participant to attend for a special tuition which includes two and half days of instruction, materials, meals and coffee breaks.
