'' The NRCSA Center in San Jose was founded in 1974, and is dedicated to the teaching of Spanish and English as foreign languages. Over the years, they have always adhered to these three rules:


* Keep the instruction practical
* Keep the groups small
* Make sure the instructors are educated native speakers

The local director and primary program administrator are U.S. nationals, and have extensive backgrounds in the instruction of Spanish to non-speakers. Both individuals have lived in Costa Rica for over 15 years, and have significant experience in operating a successful language school. There is commitment to quality language training that is shared by a staff of experienced Costa Rican instructors. They are well acquainted with the language learning habits of foreigners. Together with the school administration, they will do their best to provide you with a rewarding language learning experience.

San Jose is the perfect location for those students who are looking to study in San Jose. The school is conveniently located just West of the city center and offers its students a clean, comfortable environment to learn Spanish. Additionally, Internet Cafes are located nearby, and can be used for a reasonable fee.

The San Jose campus is located on Calle 38, just off the busy Paseo Colón. Which is located one block from the city center, and is also a major bus-stop. The complex boasts two movie theaters, a large Quality Hotel, several restaurants and a post office. Just two blocks away is the Sabana Park, a fifty-acre recreational area with sports facilities. Tennis, jogging and picnic areas are available.
