'' The school building is a renovated two story home. The first floor facilities include the reception area and administrative office, four large classrooms, a library, a fully equipped kitchen, a living and dining room area with a television, an outside terrace and yard where students can spend their breaks, meet after class and take part in the Friday night barbecues. The second floor of the building contains the school residence.
All teachers are specialists in teaching foreigners. Their experience, motivation and confidence makes learning a real pleasure. The school uses a communicative method, allowing the student to feel confident in all situations by emphasizing the use of practical application. The needs and requirements of the student are determined upon arrival, so that whichever teaching method is applied, learning is easy.
The center is located in an area of Montevideo, Uruguay, known as "Positos". The area offers the safety and quiet of a residential neighborhood along with a healthy nightlife for those who wish to partake. The school is just minutes from a number of restaurants and bars, as well as 10 minutes walking distance from the beach and 30 minutes walking distance from the city centre. Close by there is a sports centre where students can play volleyball, basketball, tennis and soccer (futbol), or make use of the gym.
Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, is located on the Rio de la Plata on the southern most tip of the countrys South Atlantic coast. It is a modern metropolis of a million and a half inhabitants and the city is the seat of important national and international events.
The main attractions are the ramblas (boulevards) that follow the beautiful and lengthy shoreline which are, without a doubt, one of the finest luxuries of the city. Montevideos European influence is evident, as it stretches along avenues, boulevards and tree-lined streets on which modern buildings are being erected alongside buildings of days long past, a testimony to the different periods of the citys history.
Visitors should be sure to go to Ordonez Park to see the rose garden and the La Carreta monument. Other sites include: the Spanish fort which provides a spectacular views of the city from its hilltop location; the National Museum of Fine Arts; the Legislative Palace; the Plaza Constitucion/Indenpendencia; Museum of Natural History; and the local beaches of Ramirez, Malvin, and Pocitos. ...''
