'' In the Gateway Workshop, The Knowledge Life Cycle Framework is covered in some detail, but the knowledge making sub-processes of Information Acquisition, Individual and Group Learning, Knowledge Claim Formulation, and Knowledge Claim Evaluation were treated only schematically. Knowledge Making is one of the most important targets of Knowledge Management, and for this reason its important to develop a detailed understanding of it. This Workshop examines the theory and practice of knowledge making and its sub-processes. It surveys techniques and tools useful for performing the various sub-processes and emphasizes various techniques and tools for coming up with new ideas and also performing knowledge claim evaluation through the perspectives of fair critical comparison. ...''
