'' This ATP course offers students a thorough education of all aspects of audio engineering and is designed to train the future professionals of the audio industry. This highly practical course provides students with skills in all audio production-related areas and provides an excellent pathway into careers in post-production, surround sound (for film and television), audio engineering, mixing and assistant studio posts. SAE - Los Angeles is a recording school where you get your hands on the gear in your own sessions. You have to complete over 35 lab projects during your training. If you decide to go overseas to continue with SAE and get your degree, SAE’s degree programs also cover aspects of business management, marketing, legal and contemporary issues.
Audio certificate programs remove much of the technical aspects included in the Diploma, decrease the number of hours in the program, and do not include job placement assistance after graduation. Certificate courses are vocational, or hobby courses, specifically designed for the person who has some equipment and software at home and is currently using it, but wants to get better, to learn the tips and tricks, and improve their overall production skills without having to get deep into the actual know-how of being a professional producer or engineer like the Diploma program does. ...''
