Training Course:Weekend DJSchool/Trainer:Manchester MIDI School Manchester, United Kingdom
Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online | On-site | Blended | Self-paced
Course Description:
'' This beginner DJ course requires no previous mixing ability. The aim of the day is getting started on the decks and learning effective mixing techniques. The programme is for entry level DJs seeking to learn key skills and/or polish up existing skills. Students learn with Technics & Stanton turntables housed alongside Pioneer CDJ1000 units. A selection of effects units and samplers are also on hand to encourage the creative manipulation of sound.
The formula for the success of our weekend DJ course is the personal nature of our in-studio tuition, with groups of 6 or less learning the creative operation of DJ equipment through practical tuition and interaction. Throughout the day training is put into context by explaining mixing techniques in relation to the individual styles of leading DJs in their fields, such as Andy C, Eddie Halliwell and Gilles Peterson. ...''
