'' In response to the expanding interest in BCs dynamic film industry, this course has been developed as an introductory awareness and education program for people wanting to work within the sector. Specifically, it is designed to provide insight into the industry and how it works, encourage self-awareness for suitability, outline the screening process for entry-level positions, provide functional skills and improve safety awareness. This course is offered as an educational tool and does not guarantee employment. Receive information on the structure of the industry, stages of production, diverse jobs within the industry, training and certification, set terminology, behaviour on the set, code of conduct, communication skills, basic safety and BC contact information. WHMIS training is included and, upon successful completion, you receive a WHMIS certificate. ...''
